Through tangible assistance and other essential services, Catholic Charities affirms human dignity, meets basic human needs, strengthens families, builds communities, and empowers others to transform their lives.
Basic Needs Assistance
- utilities, rent, mortgage, food pantry, Community Cupboard, birth certificates & photo ID’s
First Step Family Support
- infant supplies (partnered with Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank), case management, parenting support/education
Adult Day Services

- Project ASSISI – Case management
- Stark Pathways to Success – seeks to assist Stark County residents who are pursuing higher education while dealing with challenging life circumstances
Senior Rent & Mortgage Assistance
- Must be a resident of Stark County, age 65 and above, under 200% of Federal Poverty Guidlines, and have a lease/mortage holder
- To be pre-screened over the phone for our senior housing program, please call 10:00AM-4:00PM * Monday through Friday
