Future Promise, Inc. is a Canton-based 501(c)(3) youth development and family support organization dedicated to empowering at-risk and justice-involved youth, young adults, and families through stabilizing services, skill-building, and community connection. Our mission is to close educational and opportunity gaps by providing safe spaces, structured programming, and access to resources that promote self-sufficiency, confidence, and long-term success.
Future Promise offers a continuum of services designed to meet youth and families where they are, including:
• Academic Support & Youth Enrichment: After-school tutoring, reading interventions, STEM activities, leadership workshops, and mentorship to improve academic performance and life skills.
• Summer Transitional Camps: Structured summer programs focused on social-emotional learning, job readiness, financial literacy, peer communication, and exposure to career pathways.
• Resource Distribution & Basic Needs Support: Back-to-school supplies, clothing and coat drives, holiday toy drives, hygiene and food support, “Brown Bag Lunch” outreach for unhoused individuals, and community resource navigation.
• Life Skills & Workforce Development: Job readiness training, resume building, interview coaching, soft skills development, and connections to employment and vocational programs.
• Community Engagement Events: Fundraisers, incentive programs, wellness activities, and partnership events designed to strengthen community relationships and increase access to services.
Future Promise works in partnership with schools, courts, residential programs, juvenile justice facilities, local agencies, and families to coordinate services and build a support network around each participant. All programs are relationship-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. Our goal is to ensure every young person we serve has the tools, relationships, and resources needed to build a stable future with promise.
