The Helping Hands Network (HHN) has been serving the Sandy Valley community for 43 years.
Currently we provide food pantry and free clothing resources. Families must meet USDA income guideline to qualify for the food pantry. We are a member of the Stark County Hunger Task Force (SCHTF)and the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank (ACRFB). Funding is provided by the SCHTF and local churches, individuals and businesses. We offer a choice pantry that our families may shop twice per month.
Clothing is open to anyone. Our community also provides school supplies, Christmas gifts for children and Easter candy which is coordinated through HHN.
