It is important that children receive immunizations early in life to help protect them from potentially life-threatening illnesses and diseases. If your child is behind on their shots, don’t worry. Your pediatric or primary care physician can help determine a make-up vaccination schedule, so your child can get safely back on track.
The Stark County Health Department accepts several health insurances at its immunization clinics, including Medicaid and Medicaid HMOs. If you do not have insurance, payment is due at the time of the visit, but no child will be turned away due to inability to pay. During the visit, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and immunization records are required.
