Food Assistance

Children and families in Stark County, Ohio, need fresh, healthy food. However, they can’t always afford it or don’t have easy access to it. According to Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Stark County’s food insecurity rate is 14.2%, which equals about 53,000 people. For children in the area, the rate is 20.5% – about 16,770 kids.

Thankfully, there are food pantries throughout the county that provide items to take home.

Please note: Dates and times are subject to change, so we encourage you to contact the organization before going.

Donations for the Free Store We accept donations of gently used clothing and household items.  Donations are accepted Tuesdays through Fridays 9am – 4pm or by appointment.
