We help communities in Northern Ohio prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. We are able to make a difference in our local communities because of the generosity of our donors and support of our volunteers. Together, we provide the following programs and services:

• Lifesaving Skills Training
• Military or Veterans Assistance (mental health counseling, emergency assistance and job services)
• Home Fire Campaign

Provides assistance with:

• Personal financial management, including structured repayment programs
• Improving credit management and offering services that provide financial education and guidance
• Required certification for bankruptcy

Also, a HUD-approved housing counseling agency providing mortgage delinquency counseling and assistance in preparing for homeownership.

• Permanent Supportive Housing - Long-term, community-based housing, which includes supportive services for homeless people with disabilities
• Affordable Housing Program - Generally defined as housing on which the occupant is paying no more than 30 percent of gross income for housing costs, including utilities
• Rapid Re-Housing Program - An intervention that quickly connects families and individuals experiencing homelessness to permanent housing

• PATH Outreach - Outreach Specialists identify and engage people who are experiencing homelessness
• Workforce Development - Help people with serious mental health conditions enter and succeed in the competitive labor market
• Supportive Services - Housing Support Specialists provide supportive services for people experiencing homelessness, who have disabilities and reside in permanent supportive housing

Veterans' Outreach has a Direct Aid Program which helps veterans with their most immediate needs, up to $200 per veteran per year. Veterans' Outreach operates the Freedom Food Pantry for veterans. Veterans' Outreach offers clothing, hygiene, and household goods to veterans through our VO Depot Thrift Store.

Provides VA benefits assistance, financial assistance, medical transportation, and employment resources to Stark County Veterans and their families.

This pantry is open every second and fourth Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Guests must live in the following zip codes: 44720, 44721, 44685, 44718, 44709, 44630. 

They also serve all veterans and service members regardless of zip code. 

Guests must present a photo ID as well as a piece of mail with their name and address as proof of residency.

A multi-specialty clinic that provides a range of health care and mental health services to veterans.

Pegasus Farm has developed a comprehensive Military and First Responders program (MFC) to meet the needs of veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families, at no cost to participants. Horsemanship Sessions: Spend one-on-one time with the horses, and discover how they view the world and what lessons we can learn. Sessions are typically held on Wednesdays. Topics include the power of the herd, the silent language of the horse, the importance of authority, safety from the horse’s point of view, and dealing with an ever-changing environment. Counseling and Exercise Programs: We also work with local providers for individual and family counseling services, as well as individual and group exercise programs, all at no cost to our MFC participants
